How to play Tongbi Niuniu
Learn the five-card grouping method, Niu values and special hands. Follow the current in-game rules for hand rankings, comparisons and available actions.

Read the rules for this round
Tongbi Niuniu centres on grouping and comparing five cards. Check player count, coin costs, available actions and hand definitions before starting. Features such as exchanging cards depend on the version.
Group three cards, then check the remaining two
Choose three of the five cards whose point total is a multiple of ten. The units digit of the remaining two cards determines Niu One through Niu Nine. If their total is also a multiple of ten, the hand is Niuniu. Use the point values shown in the game.
Understand ordinary and special hands
The ordinary sequence is Niuniu, Niu Nine down to Niu One, then No Niu. Check the game’s hand table for special hands such as Five Small, Four of a Kind, Five Face Cards or Four Face Cards, and for tie-breaking rules.
| Ordinary hand | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Niuniu | Three cards total a multiple of ten; the remaining two do too |
| Niu Nine to One | The units digit of the remaining pair is nine to one |
| No Niu | No valid three-card multiple-of-ten group |
Check all five cards before reading the result
Look at the complete hand, then the system’s classification and round result. If manual grouping is available, check other three-card combinations. A single high card does not determine the entire hand.
Confirm the cost before choosing an action
Different options may consume different amounts of game coins. Read the option and round conditions before confirming. Luck and previous results do not guarantee the next outcome.
